OH MI GOSHHH HI!

its been ages I know! and im really sorry about that alot of stuff went on and I tried to keep everyone posted in the discord and on the site the best I could but stuff just went CRAZY and we nearly lost the site! Like 100% site gone forever! 11 years of work POOF no longer existing!

What happened? Well about two months ago or so we were still hosted on Mysidiahost- Things started breaking over there due to a lack of host upkeep- I brought up these issues to the host provider and I wasnt taken seriously... things were not fixed and my site was broken and unusable... nothing could be done if the host wasnt working.. so despite my best efforts the site was going to be broken.. 504 errors, Info not being sent correctly.. people losing things.. it was a mess that I couldnt do anything about! It was frusterating! And he was making it my fault! So you can bet I wasnt happy- theres 11 years of work into Atrocity and I was mad.. so I contacted my friend over at Virtualpetlist and he heard the story and he helped me out- and his friend helped me out- originally I was working on Atrocity reforged- which would bring it up to php 8 using my pwn framework petcore- (yea I said screw you and your framework im gonna make my own!) And I did- but the site was too hard to convert in such a limited time frame! And I was frusterated again! Luckily an awesome human being helped me by hosting me on his site that ran php 5.6 which is what Mysidia 1.3.4 uses and I was able to bring legacy back!

But then there was a bunch of fixing and changing to do there too! plus some things I wanted to update before I launched it again which I managed to do (Except trades... I cannot get the buttosn to work so the trade system is still broken- sorry guys.. theres other things and ways to give/get items from people! SO lets get into the updates! THERES ALOT SO STICK WITH ME!

More Mobile friendly

The site is now mobile friendly something people have wanted for ages is now a thing hurray!



New Error pages!
I made some new error pages cuz lol... Why not? Will probably do more sometime

Pet elements and battling
pets now have alignments/elements depending on the alignment of the user who bred/adopted etc. The only way to get other alignments now is to trade or by studding out a pet and breeding with a pet with a different alignment (when studding theres a random chance for the baby to get the fathers alignment..)

Pet to pet battles have been reworked too! As well as all random battles


Recipe book addition

The recipe book now lets you choose what quantity of an item you want to make and tells you how many you can make


Alchemy page reworked

Reworked the alchemy page completely- instead of the dropdowns from before you know choose item images! And it will tell you if that recipe is valid or not. It took me a really long time to get this working XD



User shops/adopt shop updates
There are now user item shops on site, we had just adopts ones but now theres item ones too!

First off the adopt shop updates.
added a quick adopt add to the adopt shop edit menu



Made the shop listing look loads better.


Item shop updates
First off they exist! lol...so thats a thing! YAY..

But second of all theres a new thing in the inventory where you can add an item to your shop stock..
This area is where you add or remove the item from your shop and set the price..


SPEAKING OF!

INVENTORY OVERHAUL!

The inventory got a fresh fancy new look! Theres now a manage button that will take you to the options for that Item! whether its selling it, tossing it, or adding it to your shop... or wait.. whats this new one on some of them? Collect?

COLLECTIONS

Some items like trading cards... let you collect them and then will be put into say the trading card binder- they cannot be removed so think hard about if you want them in there or not!

Current items able to be collected? Trading cards, Plushies, collectibles and soon stamps.



New tabs and a site diary

There are four more tabs in the diary and site diary... Farm, Battle, Train and ... Infection?... huh.

There is also a site diary that says what everyone is doing on the site! You can find it on the index page

Mailbox and new mail!

You can now delete multiple messages in your mailbox



But there is also a new way to write mail! I rehauled the system completely! You can now choose stationary, pens, stamps, stickers and send them off to your friends! Doll up what you write them! I admit not everything is here cuz we're still working on it and everything that goes with it but its there and it works!



And there you have it my darlings! It may not seem like much to you but I've been at all this for over two months... fighting with the previous host and trying to get the site back... and adding new things- Im tired but Im so glad its back I missed it and I missed all of you!
